Hello, I'm Cathy Thévenau! I am driven by a profound love for architecture and a journey that speaks to the resilience of following one's true calling. Originally from the beautiful island of Mauritius, I discovered my passion for architecture early on, but circumstances led me to pursue a degree in law in a place where architectural opportunities were scarce.

 

My life took a transformative turn when I seized the opportunity to move to the United States. Eager to turn my architectural dreams into reality, I enrolled at Colorado State University. There, I immersed myself in the realms of interior architecture and design, complemented by a minor in construction management. This educational journey not only broadened my perspective but also merged my legal background with newfound skills in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.

 

Beyond academic pursuits, I am a dedicated traveler at heart. I find joy in exploring new cultures, meeting diverse people, and drawing inspiration from different corners of the world. Fluent in French, English, and Mauritian Creole, I go beyond linguistic boundaries, having also studied Spanish and Japanese.

 

I envision a future where I can amalgamate my legal knowledge with a creative flair for architecture. The unique blend of skills and experiences, coupled with my multilingual and multicultural perspective, positions me as a dynamic force in the world of design and architecture.
